Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is such an amazing holiday. Even though my love is food, I enjoy being with my family most of all. To start off all the kids play all day together at my grandparents. As the evening approaches, my two aunts, my mother, my grandma, and I prepare the food and the table. We always cook ham, and turkey as the mail dishes. Having little picky kids in the family causes problems with those two meats, so my grandma also makes chicken. We also have our vegetables. Cabbage, corn, and potatoes are the usual. Then we also have Mac and cheese, rolls, spinach, and broccoli casserole. Those are my favorites. But the time that is my favorite is when we all sit down at the table and my smallest cousin says the blessing. Then the conversations start. We go from topics such as school to the cows on our farm. I love being with my family, and catching up on all the events we partain in.
